The new intake trumpet surfaces have been optimized by an extended use of CFD (computational fluid dynamic) software and bench tests.
The new geometry gives a constant power increase along the entire engine curve and overcomes the usual power loss at high rpm even if the engine speed limiter has been moved forward.
The part is made of Al 7075 and CNC machined from solid.
The trumpets installation can be done easily on the original airbox without need of special tooling or mechanical experience.
